When McCartney released Memory Almost Full he started making live appearances in venues that were much smaller than his fanbase. I got to see one of these at the Highline Ballroom. "Only Mama Knows" came from Memory Almost Full as did "That Was Me" on the flip side B opening. The Hi Hi Hi b-side "C Moon" made a regular appearance on that tour. He dips back to Beatleland with "I Saw Her Standing There." The Ameoba record store appearance is now expanded in stream land.
Although Hear Music was Macca's new label, this looks like a bootleg complete with a flip phone quality photo. Yes, Virgina, there was once an era where digital photos weren't all too sharp in phones. This was neat to have at the time, an "official bootleg."
It must be noted that Abe Laborial, Jr. was the established drummer 6 years in when this was recorded. He just now has been recruited for Pearl Jam after 25 years with McCartney. Two guitarists were Rusty Anderson and Brian Ray. David Arch played keyboards at Amoeba filling in for Wix.
A snapshot in time.
