I had bought a handful of Japanese Beatles singles when I was a kid, but I never really got the 7" bug with the infinite variants and price points and sleeves.  Why I bought THIS PARTICULAR 7" in the early 80's I have no idea.  Probably price and accessibility.

Conceptually this is a great single of covers.  Ringo takes on Carl Perkins and John does Larry Williams.  Since everything the Beatles did was perfect, it doesn't really matter whether the original influenced perfection is far better.  It's a contextual blueprint.

For the owner of 27 variants and counting of the same thing.
