The lone hit on the record is the 12 minute plus

Well, this morning Hejira sold a couple hours before I woke up wide awake on 4AM Sunday.  This was a record I bought in a Facebook lot of 5 for 20 la

The debut album, presented here in both Mono and Stereo remasters from 1999, sheds Cliff and really is flawless start to finish.  A few vocal love-themed tracks ("Baby My Heart," "All My Sorrows" and "Th

Those I had 15 or so years before For The Roses. In fact, the person that gave me this album about 20 years ago was so shocked I hadn’t heard it he gave me his spare co

Hit By Hit came out in the US in 1986 and one notable thing is the drums have a "normal" mix not commonly found even on the indie level.  The other thing is the guitars are up front loud and grimy, despite the band having some level of "commercial alternative" chops (they moved on to Epic for their 1988 debut full length Birth School Work Death). Back in 1998 this was a big critics record and I remember an female engineer telling me she liked them quite a bit.  Maybe even worked
