Buzzcocks? Late 70's British punk single compiled somewhere?  What the hell is it?  I'm sure it isn't even remotely obscure and when I find out, I'm gonna let out a big DUH. Speaking of big DUH's, yet another Green D...

They had been deviating from thrash purity since Ride The Lightning with things like "Fade To Black" and "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" that gave them arena standards.   The Black Album was it's own thing, their most commercial record and excellent on it's own terms, even if it was a drop below Justice which was a drop below Puppets which was a drop below Ride and you know.  KIll 'Em All.  They were all A level record...

You SAVAGED it (frowny emoticon )"-Pinch Point Editor 8/25/22 texting upon leaving a gig at his local bar.  He was the one who implored me to get a 75 cent web copy of this album in the early to mid aughts (not "Roll The Boner" which I bought around the same time for roughly the same price). I was going to upgrade this to a B+ as well, but the "Monster Mash" samp...

Certainly RATM distills much of things I liked before it....

The two big US top 20 hits "Tear The Roof Off The Sucker" (#15 in '76) and "Flash Light" (#16 in '78) are here as are all the other standards from the 1974-8...
