It's hard to imagine in this day of reissues upon reissues that this was the only Parliament CD you could get for a stretch of time in the 80's. A sold 10 tracks, and certainly a good introduction to their peak 70's catalog.
The two big US top 20 hits "Tear The Roof Off The Sucker" (#15 in '76) and "Flash Light" (#16 in '78) are here as are all the other standards from the 1974-8 period that produced Mothership Connection, Funkentelechy vs The Placebo Syndrome, Up On The Down Stroke, Clones of Dr. Funkenstein, Chocolate City and Motor Booty Affair.
If you want to get funked up, you really don't need any further discussion.
