My battered but playable copy of "Another Day" went out in the large solo Beatle order to France earlier this month as part of a 19 piece order.  At the time I got it, "Oh Woman, Oh Why" was the big prize and it was going through my head this morning, so no time like the present to write about it.

This was a Ram session track, and I first heard it when my neighbor John had it on a compilation 8-track bootleg of various solo Beatle stuff.  On of those "truck stop jobs" found in the early 80's at flea markets for a quarter or so. "Another Day" was a little easier to hear at the time, having appeared on LP form on the Wings Greatest compilation.  However, I was in high gear Beatles and solo completist phase, so finding any Apple 45 for a quarter was an immediate buy.

Crucial as far as solo Beatle singles go.
