Dirty was a heavily played album by me in 1992. It made it's way into the bedroom and casual living in a way the others didn't. That said, listening to it for the first time in god knows how long, I was surprised there was a big chunk of it I sort of ignored. Songs stand out all over the place. My favorite was "Sugar Kane" but I love you I love you I love you what's your song title was a good one too. That one made it to video with puppets called "Swimsuit Issue."
So cool man they do a Flex Your Head cover (The Untouchables "Nic Fit") that was a personal radio airplay hit for me in the 80's. Maybe my mother was right and this music was cultish. As opposed to being in a cult. You know the language you get a pass all the way to the top where Sassy and Royal Trux reign supreme and pop up as video subliminals for the corporate man. Didn't men read Sassy for the lastest Lisa Suckdog installment? I didn't read it for the nail polish tips heh. So yeah corporate kool before Nirvana in the year they broke. Kinda bullshit, whatever man.
Back to the album at hand. I still like it maybe 100% a bit more Sugar Kane the same and the rest a little less. Youth Against Fascism seems dated and young in times like these where everyone has their own definition of the word. Middle-aged youth then. Still in showbiz now. Am I talking even about the band?
Fucking youth.
