When we talk about Physical Graffiti, we are talking about Led Zeppelin at the peak of their powers with all cylinders firing: commercial, experimental, and Rock.  Beyond the hits, as a kid completing his Led Zeppelin collection I thought there was some filler.  It really isn't filler at all, but they aren't commercial experiments the way Houses of the Holy flirted with Funk and Reggae before or the way Presence blasted out 7 tracks on Presence.  This is sprawling Zeppelin.

The AOR core of "Trampled Under Foot," "Houses of the Holy" and of course "Kashmir" may even get dwarfed by the majesty of "In The Light" or "The Wonton Song" or "Custard Pie" depending on how you feel on a certain day.  "Boogie With Stu" has a machine like feel out of Bonham with a barrel house piano.  This is  their idea of filler.  "Bron-Yr-Aur" is more in the tradition of "Black Mountain Slide."

Served up for a lifetime to ponder.
