Lovable power metal with thrash overtones.  The duel vocals are a bit grating, but that is also part of the charm.  Think primarily a distilled Rob Halford circa Fight with a second shrill screamer.    Anvils and axes are added into the mix.  Who needs a band photo, or cares what they look like, when you can have a cartoon warrior with an axe represent.  It is three inches of blood he must produce, after all, even if home base is Vancouver.

It seems like I've had these tracks on random shuffle for nearly a month after giving the CD a listen before it went out the door.  I can't say I'm past a certain level of familiarity with specific tracks.  "Deadly Sinners" stands out and that one comes early.  There are 13 tracks here and another standout is "Premonition of Pain" for the little opening banger part and the escalating, rising vocal range line by line.  It should be noted that the lyrics are not all battle themed.  "Crazy Nights" is simply about the band rocking out in London.

One thing I noticed is that Spotify had a moving image of almost every cover.  In this case a lightning bolt unforseen in the artwork magically appears by the axeman.  What can I say, this is truly metal.  You have a man in battle gear, and army of sorts, a distant look and raised axe, but a bolt of lightning?

The future is not exempt except targeting year 4055 for AI war takeover seems a bit over 2,000 years off give or take.
