Rocket From The Crypt had a run of singles that were ultimately compiled on the All Systems Go album in 2011. The opening cut "Bad Ninja" got messed with to become "Bad Sonic Ninja." I thought it was the best track of this single, maybe the band didn't think so.
RFTC were at their peak in 1992 and this Italian import single had two songs I remembered from back then as well as the instrumental "Goodbye." Coming hot off the heels of the Circa: Now album, that was to be expected. Like lightning in a bottle and like many bands before and after, once the band hit it's peak it became impossible to maintain that level of excellence yet still they soldiered on another decade plus, called it a day for 6 years and apparently reformed for good in 2013 mostly for local (San Diego) gigs, festivals and European tours. They last made a 600 press single for a UK tour in 2017 called Return To Monkey Island. So obscure it can't be streamed.
That they continue to exist in a low key manner can't hurt.
