Wholly excellent later Scrawl record.  The band was at least ten years in at this point and and finally reached the majors for their 5th album.  Some of it (approximately have) was recorded by Steve Albini.  There is a bit of a roar on the record overall, they didn't try to sound like a "major label" production and they got a follow-up a couple years later before calling it a day until recent reunion shows.

Clearly the best track is one I didn't remember from back then, "Louis L'Amour."  Sue rails to "find yourself another little pony to ride!"  "Good Under Pressure" was a prior single A-side and it opens the record here.  The other standout was "He Cleaned Up," a circular anthem.  He fucked up, she put him out, he cleaned up, she took him back, etc. etc. ad infinitum for the duration of the song.  A great dysfunctional anthem.

Other things stand out.  The bass in "Story Musgrave" and the disintegrate and move on lyric.  "Go Easy On Her Mind" implores just that.  

More durable than many other bands major label graduations.
