I've had this used copy of Buffalo Springfield Again since 1983 or 4. The label is one of the post-1982 Atco labels, which is fairly rare to see for this album. Usually you expect to see the 70's yellow label. This was a nice copy I had up for sale over 10 years, somehow it slipped below the median price and went for under $9.
Obviously Neil Young and Stephen Stills are the big stars of this band, but of course latter day Born Again Christian Richard Furay as well as bass player Bruce Palmer had records of note after this band. Dewey Martin was the main drummer on this record and also contributed vocals. Session players were also added throughout the album. There are hits-a-plenty in terms of rock standards like Neil's "Mr. Soul" and Steve's "Rock and Roll Woman." My favorite track was the Neil psychedelic suite closer "Broken Arrow" and Furay's "A Child's Claim To Fame" sticks out on this round of listens.
Crucial 60's rock that isn't overheard.
