I've had this on vinyl since the early 80's and my copy got flooded out in the ill fated "F" box. I suspect it will remain in storage for all eternity but surprise surprise the 8-track that came in a recent lot went for just under six bucks. Stranger things have happened, but when Foghat sells it gives one pause. In recent years I've acquired a fairly complete Foghat collection with the idea that they will never sell.
This has the biggest or their AOR hits: "Slow Ride." Sure the title track is a hit, but "Slow Ride" is probably band defining. It takes all of the last track on the 8-track, but it closes side 1 on the record. The album went RIAA gold in 1976 and finally went Platinum in 1986. Only Foghat Live has hit the double platinum mark but this is the lone studio million seller. However, there is one thing that dominates the remaining 5 tracks on the album.
