This is one of those albums I had for many years and somehow didn't really know it well.  Listening to the 8-track that sold, I realized there really is nothing on the record I wouldn’t call great.

The big hit here is "Arrested For Driving While Blind."  It harkens back to an era before the pearl clutchers imposed their iron grip on such a topic.  I mean hey he knows he's gotta deal with the law.  All he wants to do is question why.

"It's Only Love" kicks off the record and "She's A Heartbreaker" are the other songs that seem to stand out for me from a familiarity standpoint.  “Avalon Highway” is a great one.

A day or two after I started writing this, I’m  stuck in a hospital bed with pneumonia so I can’t do my listen ponder relisten thing.   I finally got admitted and feel better so hopefully I’ll return soon.   I’ve got a bunch of things to write about this week but need more passes so I can’t do it on an iphone in the hospital bed with a neighbor.   I’ll crank out some more when I get outta here.

You’ll just have to listen yourself.
