One of those times I'd feel totally fine just having a CD compilation of a band.  I do like the debut Beauty and the Beat but this has some later hits that I like as stand-alones.

For me there are 4 great tracks here.  The first single off Beauty and the Beat, "Our Lips Are Sealed" I bought as a kid before the album hit number one and I had to have it for my number one album collection.  "How Much More" and "This Town" from that also made the cut here.  That means there are exactly two songs post-Beat songs I like alot, and they are both from Talk Show which I never had.  "Turn To You" and "Head Over Heels."  

The next tier are the hits I'm sick of.  I never loved "We Got The Beat" which was massive and inexcapable, but I do like how she crams "Do The Watusi" in her dance line listing to fit the song.  The follow-up "Vacation" has a cheery chorus I think is ok, but I've heard the song enough times in my life.

As for the rest, the cover of the Capitol's "Cool Jerk" is a kinda crappy 1990 update.  I guess it's cool that they chose to cover it for the Greatest album, but as the second track on the record it sounds jarring and out of place.  They originally did it on the Vacation album.  "I'm The Only One" is pretty good, which makes me think Talk Show is an album to get.
