Compilation of the glory years both artistically and commercially for The Psychedelic Furs.  Good for me since I stopped at the first album that I liked quite a bit in the 80's.  The radio singles stayed on the radio and that was good enough.

Talk Talk Talk, Forever Now, Mirror Moves and Midnight To Midnight had their hits for sure.  You could even say genre defining as they evolved in a bigger and bigger commercial band.  I always thought "Heaven" was their biggest hit but that was only top 40 in the UK. "Heartbreak Beat" was the only US Billboard Top 40 hit peaking at #26.  Even the hit film couldn't get "Pretty In Pink" past #41 here.  I guess circa 1986 I was more interested in "alternative" bands that were trying NOT to be commercial, rather than moving toward mainstream accessibility.  As time passed and involuntary immersion faded, it became easier for me to hear this music.

I still reserve the right to drift off from boredom time to time.
