Boston garage rock band the Cheater Slicks 1991 7" of covers from The Minimum Daily Requirements and The Savoy's has been one of those punk records whose value has gone DOWN considerably over the past decade.  The first person to list it got almost 30 bucks for it back in 2015 before everybody and myself decided enough of these records collecting dust in a box in storage and put it up on sale like everyone else who bought the record.  Now it goes pretty consistently for under 10 bucks.  This single was also compiled on the CD edition of the Whiskey EP from 1993.  I was a bit concerned that the essential cover art was altered for digital release, so I've included both sides before it gets fully purged from the public eye.

That doesn't mean this band isn't excellent.  I actually played on a bill with them once but became a discography completist of theirs after initially seeing them late in the 80's at least for a few years before and into their period recording for In The Red .  I must've dropped out by the time Whiskey came out, but I haven't thought any less of the band over the next few decades.   In The Red still are putting them out as recently as last years Ill Fated Cusses.. It's a bit of a relief to know they are still around even if they don't seem to make it out of Columbus, OH.

If they show up in NYC, I'll go.
