This sale was exciting for me because it happened as I was putting the shelves back in my storage space after pulling this weeks other orders.  Usually the first sale after pulling orders comes a couple hours AFTER leaving storage.

#26 in K's International Pop Underground series, Teenage Fanclub were well established at the time of this single of two covers.  I did an interview with the band transcribed for Cut fanzine but that cassette has been lost to the sands of time.  The next time the Fannies were in Boston they noted they had a photo of me at their show in a Ramones shirt.  I had many Ramones shirts at the time, now I have none.

The A-side of this record was a cover of Alex Chilton's "Free Again."  Although it was demoed in 1970, it first officially saw the light on Chilton's 1981 album Bach's Bottom.  The 1970 recordings were issued after this single in 1995.

The B-side was a cover of Beat Happening's "Bad Seeds."  This was the second track of the K Records owner's 1985 debut.
