This B-sides release was originally released in 1980 as part of the Epic Nu-Disk 10" series.  The Clash and Cheap Trick were the marquee stars of the series along with lesser selling lights like The Continentals, New Musik and Shakin' Stevens as well as established acts of yore like Ricky Nelson and Gary Glitter.  Black Market Clash and Cheap Trick's Found All The Parts were the only ones to my knowledge that got repressed in 1983 in 12" format and I got my copy sometime between then and the CD era brand new to complete my collection.  It might have even be 1983.

Anyway, the record itself is divided between "punk" Clash B-sides and reggae tracks on side 2.   One of the reggae tracks, the Mikey Dread produced "Bankrobber," was a massive rock radio hit.  Much more so than any of the tracks on the A-side.  They were hits for me though particularly the cover of my hands down favorite reggae song, Toots & The Maytals "Pressure Drop."   My other favorites were "City of the Dead" and "Cheat."  Today I'm liking "The Prisoner."  Oddly enough the opener "Capital Radio One" and the extended dub closer of "Armageddon Time" and "Justice Tonight/Kick It Over" are my least favorite of the record, though I like the side 1 ending instrumental "Time Is Tight" enough.

Rules are for fools!
