BPT, Connecticuts' 76% Uncertain (Bridgeport, dontcha know??) formed in 1983 from the ashes of CIA and Reflex From Pain.  Not particularly crucial, but has some good cuts.  I remember buying it from the hardcore bin used from Al Bums in the mid '80 even though this came out in 1985.

I remember playing "I Hate The Radio" and "No Way" on the radio (it wasn't promoed so it was in my "station doesn't have it" rotation of records I'd bring from home).  Otherwise this record was faceless to me.  Now that I'm giving it a few complete listens, the songs that jump out besides that one is the one directly before "I Hate The Radio," "Softee" a missive against entertainment in rock 'n roll.  "Critic" is a missive against he who would discuss such a thing.   It has to be all political all the time.  At least until they cover The Electric Prunes and bypass publishing norms retitling it "Too Much To Dream."

Otherwise you get your whoah oh ohs and your lite Descendants sandpaper vocals if that makes any sense.  It will when you listen to it. Definitely melodic hardcore with some vague scene politics.  He does hate the radio, after all.

Bridgeport after all is a prison town.
