Early 90's kitchen sink Seattle scene comp on a Tacoma label in it's 650 pressing splendor. Take the band Apple Maggot Quarantine Area. The vocalist Bob Bulgrien went on to be in the much more famous Seaweed. Nonoxynol 9 due a bit of instrumental Surf Rock. The side wraps with a real honest to God groupie and her story of Jim Belushi.
The B-side opener "Times Too Tight" also has the Bulgrien/Seaweed connection. This particular track was good straight forward buzzsaw punk. For me this was the best of the lot. Like a super stripped Husker Du. Probably the best track of the record as far as memorable songs go , since it was going through my head after a listen. Smasher Garden was a bit of meandering butt metal. Leviathan's "March of the Weed" was a bit better and also memorable. Kinda reminds me of Children In Adult Jails. The band more than the practice. Then you get an outro answering machine message.
A conceptually adequate release.
