I had a run on Mr. Gedge's titles, with 3 different titles selling from three different buyers over the past month.  What better way to start off with the single titled "Three?"

The Hit Parade was a monthly singles series from 1992 that was reissued on CD in two volumes afterward.  They were coming off two of their greatest albums, Bizarro and Sea Monster.  Albini didn't record this and there was a clear difference.  Producer Chris Nagle is more known for his work with Simply Red and the Inspiral Carpets.  This doesn't make theweddingpresent sound bad, the guitar is still the a main instrument.

The B-sides of this series were covers and "Think That It Might" was from Altered Images Pinky Blue album.from 1982.  They were more known for synth-pop, and Gedge delivers an edge and makes it his own.

The A-side, '"Three," is a the standard relationship song I guess.  The video shows two ladies pillow fighting, so I guess it's a Ménage à trois thinly veiled.

Or maybe it's just about a pillow fight.
