Lo fi, crude fi, industrial noise, ambient voices, it's all there in this split label 7" compilation.  Blackjack of course is the label that originally brought Brainbombs to the US.  Bulb was a no-fi Michigan avant-garde mainstay.

All of this sounds like late night fringe music made for bored DJ at 4 in the morning.  Blackjack was from Oakland,  I prefer their variety from overdriven Aluminum Queen to San Francisco's Cardinal Sin imploring us to Piss On The Wall the way J. Geils Band never could.
