The first single from long running California stoner rock band Fu Manchu came out on the Slap-A-Ham label which also had a Melvins single I bought.  At the time it didn't seem like there would be a large room, skater punk contingent to make them an international decades long touring entity.  It just seemed like an obscure noise rock single with a cover of a guy with a big foot.  It went for thirty bucks, probably falling from the 40 or 50 I tried to get for it over the last 7 years.  

While I remembered none of these tracks, the A-side is an enjoyable chugger.  It starts off in slow Melvins land then kicks in.  The B-side isn't as good even after a few listens.  This was a band that actually got better in their slicker evolution with The Action Is Go, but I haven't really cared since that and the Man's Ruin EP that followed in 1998.

A decade was enough for me.
