You never forget your first Pagans.
Recorded in late 1986, this album is a crucial document of a great band, issued around a decade after the seminal singles featured on Buried Alive. You can't stream this on youtube or spotify, you'll just have to take my word for it and buy it. Hell, I might buy it again someday. I got plenty of use of this when it came out for my radio show. Every track a hit.
Often stage patter on live records can be lacking. Not in this case. "Dead End Minneapolis!" intros "Dead End America." We learn that those who have an optimistic world view are really looking through the "Eyes of Satan." The late Mike Hudson dutifully tells us that the song about multiple personalities is CALLED "Multiple Personalities!"
Every track roars and makes a perfect companion to the Buried Alive compilation that came out a year before.
Not Now! No Way!
