Guitarist/Vocalist Steve Bjorklund's Breaking Circus was a radio mainstay for me in the 80's. This fanzine issue single contained a pair of new wave renditions of punk rock hits. The A-side took on Naked Raygun's "Home Of The Brave." The B-side takes on the UK Subs "Warhead."
I was excited to find this at In Your Ear used in the early 90's. I had no idea it came from a zine until years later. Being a Naked Raygun fanatic once All Rise hit in 1986, this was a regular favorite to shlep into various radio shows since it was never promod. Apparently there was a cover printed for the single several years after the fact, but the copy I bought and sold was a simple white sleeve that came with The Pope zine.
All Rise and salute!
