Yet another Peel extravaganza from 1993.  I'm addicted!  I'm starting to see a formula.  A "Yank Sizzler" in this case he spices it up with godheadsilo, who were a favorite noise rock duo at the time and a single I am well familiar with.  The other Yank Sizzler is a doo wop record from the 50's  on a compilation that had been passed over in it's day the Peel took a liking to by the Symbols.

In another twist on Episode 23 he closes with The Mark Four from 1965.  This is the band that evolved into the Creation.  He played it because it had the first instance of feedback he knew of, although it "ruins" all the records of the day he stated with a wink.

The rest of the formula remains, some indie rock 7" when he complains about a trip to Manchester where he at least got to see Liverpool's Breed who he promised to play in future shows.  No-talent Skinned Teen make two appearances.  He likes his riot grrl records and gives a dig to those that wwould prefer the guitar of Clapton, which is almost anyone including myself.  He also like record store finds from the Congo as Pepe Kalle opens episode 23.  

Entertaining for a pass.
