Of the classic Cheap Trick run in the 70's, In Color was the one I always thought was the weakest. That is a solid album, left of Heaven Tonight and Dream Police, but a bridge between the first and the hit making period of those 2 and Budokan. The transition was a spritely, embryonic "I Want You To Want Me" which became the live hit we all know and love.
More on par with the live versions are "Hello There" and "Clock Strike Ten." The standouts for me on this listen were "Oh Caroline" and "Southern Girls." Some people deem the whole thing classic, but for me it was the one I sort've ignored and for whatever reason can only nod at it's general goodness. You should have it and the rest of the first 5, but maybe any of the others should be bought before this one.
What else do you want?
