Freebee single that came in the 11th Chunklet fanzine back in the heady days where I had a whole room dedicated to fanzines and a mattress for guests to crash on in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
I, as everyone, was a fan of the DonCab debut For Respect, featuring the high held guitar of Ian Willams. Williams was the live focal point but he was not in the band on this recording. The main main here is Damon Che who also toiled in Bellini, The Speaking Canaries, Punching Contest and Half Life. He is joined by guitarist Mike Banfield who remained and Pat Morris.
Instrumental punishment rock, these two tracks shows the band in early form but not much different than 1993's For Respect, just in a live setting. Everyone was sad to see Ian Williams go, but he went on to Battles. He's not here, clearly Damon Che is the visionary.
You really don't miss vocals at all.
