What to give for the Jad Fair fan that doesn't like Jad Fair's voice?  Best Wishes, that's what!  Here we have a bunch of super short, often under a minute, tracks alternative between the titles "O.K" and "A.O.K." with a sequential number after them for the duration of the album.  Lots of clanking, blurping and clattering over 41 short tracks.

This is music not made for repeated listening.  Melodies, echos, whistles and the like overwhem in short little bursts, but always cut short to move on to another different outburst.  Should it exist?  Of course.  Is it better than a lot of things.  Most certainly. If I die before I take yet another 40 years to hear it ago, will I have pangs of regret on my death bed?  The last 40 or so years certainly have gone by since the last listening without a single thought given to Best Wishes if if I was rifing though the "J" section in storage looking for something else.

Kiss off or punctuation.  You decide.
