"Sounds like Riff Raff..."-John McKeag pre-DJ years into tape recorder with cheap cassette and the opening cheers of If You Want Blood playing in the background circa 1981

Since the Bon Scott era of AC/DC is essentially flawless throughout the main releases, the question becomes a sliding scale of A and A+ in terms of what was played and how often.  If You Want Blood You've Got It documents the band in 1978. This particular selling edition was a 2003 remaster that initially got reissued fancily with a booklet that had the band on Epic that was corrected when this copy came out in 2009 in the US.  This might be a record that could have added a second bonus disc of live material from the same crucial time period, but it seems like the idea was to reproduce the classic albums as they came out in the United States.  Also, Bonfire took care of outtakes and a double CD of the Let There Be Rock film in a fancy box set if you really want that level of Blood.

The year before Highway To Hell, this was a signpost of the rise of the band before they became AC/DC the million selling band with Highway To Hell and paying eternal tribute beyond that with the great in his own way but very different Brian Johnson.  I might prefer a tighter studio version of "Let There Be Rock" and "Rocker" but "Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be" and of course the kickoff rips it up.

Sounds like Riff Raff!
