Garage punk rock from Madrid, Spain. I thought this was an average genre record with a vocal song on the A-side and an instrumental on the B.
The A-side, "Get Away" made itself interesting with a spoken word bar stool rant. "I ain't drinkin' no 7-Up! Understand me??? Motherfucker!" The B-side is a good rocking instrumental.
The Pleasure Fuckers went from 1988-1999, so this record is a couple years into their run. Their singer Kiki Turmix (Enrique Vitoria) passed in 2005. Norah Findlay, the guitarist on this went on to be in Sin City Six and Los Sentios and she last appeared with them in 2009. Other guitarist Mike Sobieski is still going as of 2023 with Shorty's Swingin' Coconuts as well as playing with Sonny Vincent. He was also in Sin City Six as was bass player Barnaby Bowles and drummer Angel Ramos.
Garage rock tends to create lifers.
