For my Thanksgiving writeup, what could be more American than the Boys From Nowhere from Columbus, Ohio? Garage rock from 38 years ago doing a song about 20 years before that. The A-side "Jungle Boy" was not to be confused with the John Eddie AOR hit from the same time period. This was a rougher, more rockin' jungle.
The Boys From Nowhere where on the name of people's lips that were "in the know" in the later 80's. I picked up a few singles of theirs around that time including this one, their second release. Interestingly, there was an alternate press single with a different A-side, "Indefinite Inhibition" using the same sleeve.
1966, that's the year the kids all tripped.
