The second EP from Soundgarden was later compiled with the first. SST took over from Sub Pop for Ultramega OK before A&M took over for good. For whatever reason, I didn't like Soundgarden when they came out, even though I played them on the radio. I didn't see them until Louder Than Love, but by that point Ultramega was a household hit retroactively and preferred to that album.
Anyway, who gives a shit? Sometime you gotta be won over with repeated reps. As for this 4-track ep, opening with Ohio Players and closing with Green River with one original "Kingdom of Come" opening the second side. Sounds fine to me today, I don't know what my problem was except for an early dislike for Cornell's vocals that went away.
I had a duplicated promo of this that was marked up, but it had the original Sub Pop mail order flyer, so it still went for 70 bucks, about 10 less than one in better shape that sold recently.
Celebrity grunge in the grunge years.
