With the recent write-up of a "Pavement sounding" band, I was reminded that there was a recent Pavement EP sale last month I didn't bother to write about.
The title track (with video) was a single off Wowee Zowee that didn't leave an impression, nor did "Mussle Rock (Is A Horse In Transition). The one that jumps out for me is the pleasant lumber of "Kris Kraft." That's a good one.
Nowadays, this EP has been folded into the Wowee Zowee bonus tracks added on the reissue. I was so faithful to Pavement that I had all these EP's as they came out and even got Slanted and Enchanted Redux, but this reissue was a bridge too far. The dawn of later-day Pavement wasn't important enough for me to rebuy.
Sometime detritus is better in the shorter format it was originally intended.
