Undeniable 5 song EP, every song a classic hit.  They compile the bands first two singles on the Vengence label and recorded by Alex Chilton in 1977 at Ardent Studios in Memphis. "Lonesome Town, " best known by Ricky Nelson, is added at the end for good measure.

The meat of this record, "Surfin' BIrd" and "The Way I Walk" are probably eclipsed by the popularity of "Human Fly."  It's the lone original here after all.  This is such baseline 70's punk era rock 'n roll it defies criticism.  Reverence of The Trashmen, Roy Orbison not to mention Jack Scott are recommended, but not required for entry,   Not liking this means you just don't like the myriad of pretenders that followed. Too tough to be rockabilly revival.  Too raw to make the mainstream, but raw enough to make a large club and small theater career.

The world still misses Lux Interior.
