Sad To See It Go: No

Someone was psyched my band bought copy of this had a lyric sheet and out the lone copy on Discogs went for $20.99 after being up there for 7 years.  I bought this with the 1999 release The Rage of It All, so I'm guessing it was around then that I saw Boulder at the Continental in NYC and was blown away sufficiently enough to buy everything they had to sell.  Those lyrics were indecipherable to me then and now, but the crushing noise velocity was enough for me.  Oddly enough, I would work at Tee Pee shortly after the two releases for them in the early aughts.  When I bought this I never knew that I someday would be buying a band I would be shipping out orders for.

Boulder was rooted in late 80's Cleveland grind/punk/noise bands Blatant Disregard and Steaming Feces which later transitioned to Procreation.  From these bands emerged a holy blend that is Boulder.  Somehow, they toiled for nearly a decade before I witnessed them by chance. I have zero recollection of who else was on the bill that night, but left that show impressed by Boulder.

This EP was after a few 7" singles, having been around since 1991 coming from Cleveland.  Hardcore with metal riffs template.  The uninitiated would perhaps think this is just alot of screaming, but that's just another instrument as far as I'm concerned.

I never did bother to read that lyric sheet.
