1985 recordings from Doug Gilliard of Guided By Voices, Death of Samantha and Cobra Verde fame with vocalist Frasier Sims also of Starvation Army.  The A-side "Blue Venus Aflame" can't be found online in this lo-fi form, but you can hear it on youtube live.  This was a favorite of mine to play on the radio and I bought it long before I really knew GBV, although Death of Samantha was in heavy rotation my radio years.

The B-side tracks weren't as memorable.  "Your Time Is Through" sounds like a interpolation of the Stooges "I Wanna Be Your Dog" with a melodic vocal line. "St. Jacks Bible" wraps it up.with a powerful rant.

The liner notes by Steve Wainstead from WCSB Cleveland tell the tale of cassettes loved and played and now released for the masses that care.

Otherwise it just gets lost forever.
