Don Fleming (Gumball, B.A.L.L) meets Tom Smith (To Live And Shave In LA, Peach of Immortality) to create a pleasant but ultimately forgettable 7". I had deemed Fleming to be worthy of purchasing imported single side projects, probably to play on the radio. "Dizzy" nowadays can be shazammed to lift the cloak off the beyond sample lift of Hugh Montenegro. Whoda thought in 1991 it would be so easily traceable?
As for the first track "Izzy," this colab is Fleming rock with tape manipulation erring on the side of Fleming's bombast NYC 80's downtown sound. The B-side is the more tape oriented.
There were worse ways to spend six bucks.
