This 1986 release compiles tracks from the 1984 self titled release now called 5 Languages and Sideroxylon from 1983.  Both of these were issued together on cassette in 1984 in their home country of Australia as well as the Netherlands.  The US & Europe got a revised shortened version in 1986 as Mina Mina Mina.  Some of the tracks not included here wound up on the US/Europe release Quintessentially Yours from 1983.  What a complicated catalog!

The only song I remembered from this album was "Back In The Red," which was one of three tracks remixed from the earlier release.   The other two are "Rainforest" and "Back In America."  Track that had a video was "Tick Tock."  The other standout track for me was "Wild Desire."

Generally, this band does straightforward guitar driven punk though "Back On The Corner" adds a little atmospheric piano.  "Punk" is really just rock here along the lines of The Saints.  This is probably one of the finest bands of the genre.  I've only got to see them once way back in 1987 and now the singer Damien Lovelock has been gone 5 years from cancer.  The surviving members put together a tribute called Damo, The Musical.

As good a place as any to start.
