Perhaps one of the least desirable of all Sub Pop Singles Club Singles, engineer Brian Nelson's band Gorilla had a handful of releases in the 90's kicked off by this thematic single.  Sub Pop singles had much larger pressings and glossy covers by September 1991 the month of Nevermind.

The record itself is a couple likable garage rock jams.  That I couldn't remember either side meant that it didn't make it to anyone mix cassette or beyond a spin or two on the radio or at home.  I had many singles like this, dutifully played once and filed away.  They would never emerge to be sullied by a diamond head once that filing happened until this week.  Usually with the Sub Pop singles club bands I would go back and get the rest of the bands catalog if I didn't already have it.  In this case, there was one or two other singles before they went on to Thrill Jockey for a full length in 1993 and a second for Hell Yeah in 1996 before calling it a day.  I didn't know they existed until today, although I feel like I saw the first single from 1990 flipped past somewhere in the universe.

2 albums, 5 singles, a compilation. 1990-1996.
