While not as monumental start to finish as Toys In The Attic or Rocks, Draw The Line the album has my singular favorite song of the band, the title track. It also has "KIngs And Queens" which I had on a B-side of the "Come Together" cover as a kid from their appearance in Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It also has "Sight For Sore Eyes" which made it to Live Bootleg in 1978 but didn't have live legs for the band beyond the 70's. Those 3 are the hits for me.
It's still 70's Aerosmith. A couple songs from the middle of the record got brought out by the band in recent years before Steven Tyler's gave out: "Get It Up" with a Crunge-like thing going and "Bright Light Fright." They both close out side 1 on the record. To me "Critical Mass" is the best of the rest. I keep wanting to like this this album start to finish more than I actually do. That said, they still have enough fuel in the tank to be great in 1977.
Listening a few times in a row didn't change anything.
