The 4th album from The Divine Comedy is a bit of a breakout commercially.  They were on the tips of so many peoples tongues I don't know why Neil Hannon's output remained a curio for so long.

Casanova is a bit of a concept album. Musings of a Lothario who doesn't love anyone but will work very hard at seduction.  Casanova has so many great songs as a standalone that the Casanova Companion disc seems superfluous although the live "Johnny Mathis' Feet" is certainly a standout.  Somewhere there is an older woman in Enniskillen with a cocktail in one hand seething at the lyrics.

Mr. Hannon.  You are no longer to communicate with my daughter!
