Garage Punk from Bilbao, Spain.  This came out in 1991, a few years after the band came into existence.  Consisting of 4 uncredited covers, La Secta's double single does two things.  First, it lays down a musical manifesto of what they are about by covering what came before them in the 70's (T. Rex, Suicide) and 80's (The Scientists, Spacemen 3).  The second is this release creates a tie to Sonic Boom of Spacemen 3.  

Sonic Boom plays keyboards on the 70's single of "20th Century Boy" and "Ghost Rider."  While he isn't on the 80's record, his song "Revolution" is the last word backing The Scientists' "Demolition Derby."  They had 3 or 4 singles out including a couple on the Spanish garage label Munster as well as another one that came out on Sympathy For The Record Industry, as well as an album on Munster from 1990 called Blue Tales.  

As good as anywhere to start I suppose.
