The first edition was an early radio show favorite of mine and I picked up this reissue somewhere in that time period in the mid-80's.  The original cover was a stock classical cover, this reissue was white with a blurry image  (Ian MacKaye?) on the cover.

Since I took great pleasure in playing 60-90 second hardcore songs on my radio show, there were many hits on this album.  "Nic Fit" by the Untouchables, Young Rollins SOA "I Hate The Kids,"  Teen Idles "I Drink Milk," Youth Brigade "Moral Majority" and Void "My Rules" were my favorites then.  Of course the Minor Threat Wire cover "12XU" is genre definitive.

The one that stood out for me today was Red C "Pressure's On"  The other thing that struck me after hearing many lo-fi singles is how great this sounded in headphones.  The guitars were nice and dirty, front and center.  Just like in the basement or whatever.

Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios knew what he was doing.
