One of the greatest LA punk records ever made, the Macdonald brothers were 17 and 13 when this came out and the band was already a few years old.  Not even their first band, that was The Tourists.  Big enough for the real Red Cross to make them change their name.

Mostly originals, save for the Stu Phillips composed soundtrack song from Beyond The Valley of the Dolls, "Look On Up At The Bottom."  and Charlie Manson's "Cease To Exist" which closes the record.  Not your run of the mill covers or your run of the mill teenage hardcore band.  Their LA (Hawthorne) environment was duly noted as full of cellulite, white trash, burnouts and solid gold.  The American dream.

Notes and Chords mean nothing to these kids as they proudly proclaim in the bonus track added on.  They have a different kind of knowledge granted by Hawthone, CA.  Who but a bunch of teens could cheerily sum up Linda Blair with The Exorcist long in the rear view mirror?

"Kidnapped, raped and possessed!"

The best, that Linda.
