Chicago's Drunk Tank we among one of those faceless great sounding bands of the midwest.  This 1989 debut preceded a series of singles and a full length that rolled out into the mid 90's.

Bass heavy, to the fringe of Albini territory.  Indecipherable, not particularly memorable, but always sounding great when you hear 'em.  That about sums up Drunk Tank and this debut shot heard round the world is no different.  Figures Albini recorded this.

Where are they now?  Frontman bassist/vocalist Julian Mills went on to Dirty Old Man River, short lived percussionist Lou Circotelli had further fringe success in God as well as Laika.  I have no idea if guitarist Alex Barker did anything after this run.

Bass with harmonic left of Unsane/Jesus Lizard without the hits.
