Carbonas had a 3 album 6 single career in the first decade of the aughts and I managed not to hear a note of this specific band. OK genre band if a bit clean despite dirty attire.
Mid-aughts distorto-punk from Atlanta on Jay Reatards label. Sounds about what you think it would sound like if you are familiar with that sort of thing. I was thinking Black Lips. Greg King along with Clay Kilbourne have gone on to be in GG King, whose name made alot of year end lists last year of people whose tastes would make me curious to check out GG King. At some point I sold a Gentlemen Jesse & His Men from the same consignment collection, and lo and behold some of the same names pop up as affiliates. The puzzle is starting to come together in my mind as I just assumed all these bands were faceless standalone B level bands.
Carbonas just seem wholesome in some sort've way.
