Where and When Bought: Nuggets Boston late 80's?

Gwiz-gau Letter Grade: B+

Sad To See It Go: No

This live set came out in 1987 and was promoted to  US college radio as were most releases imported on What Goes On via Dutch East.  I bought this maybe a year or two later at Nuggets in Boston's Kenmore Square for a few bucks.  This was the year I saw Lovelock and company at UCONN in Storrs, CT to 10 people but I'm certain I've written about that eventful night at length for another album.

There nothing bad to say about this live set except maybe you don't need it if you have the studio versions.  Yeah right.  Of course you need each and every Celibate Rifles release, as do I and every other lover of great rock and roll.

It took me a couple months to write about this after writing about Quintessentially Yours that was bought in the same order.   I guess with a band like this, that is so consistent in it's excellence, I've run out of variations to say on the same thing particularly when the same great songs like "Sometimes" are involved.  I know there are people out there that would be happy with just one Celibate Rifles album.  I shudder to think there are people out there that would willingly have none.  How could this be possible?

Pump your fist to "Back In The Red," extend your middle fingers to "Carmine Vattelly (N.Y.N.Y.C.)" and keep going.
