Sad To See It Go: Yes
I forgot about this one having the bands "other" penis related hit "It's So Big It's Fluorescent". Paul Caporino sings in a mournful tone "my dick is of immense proportions/I mean big..." The whole world smiles. When the title chorus kicks in, your head sings along whether your mouth does or not.
The rest of the record I forgot, but apparently the lone track that made the web was the 2nd one on side A: "Rot Rot Rot." John Peel played this one which is why somebody cared enough to post it. In the tradition of a truncated "Brainwashed" by Flipper. Whos got time to squeeze oranges?
The B side I played last week and promptly forgot, so that's on me that I can't find it in streamland.. You just have to buy the record to hear "The Turd That Came To Life" and "Young and In Love" as well as the hit "It's So Big It's Fluorescent."
Some people were emailing me about the article slowdown. I had a little sales run, so there will be plenty of things to write about in the next week or two.
That's the way it goes in the ebb and flow world of the Reverse Collector (TM).
